FAQs

+ Is Thursday Thought Coaching® the same as therapy?

Thursday Thought Coaching® is not therapy, counselling or consulting. It is a non-therapeutic pathway, intended for clients who wish to improve and develop personally or professionally. The Coach cannot and does not purport to offer any form of medical advice. Therefore, if needed, please contact your doctor or registered health care professional.

+ Would you recommend I commit to a certain amount of sessions?

Behavioural change often takes time to implement and sustain. The pace of change is uncertain and varies amongst individuals. As such, my professional recommendation would be a minimum of 6 sessions (i.e. one session per month, a total of 6 months). However, the number of sessions decided upon will be at the Client’s full discretion.

Clients have chosen to employ me as their Coach on a long-term ongoing basis. Other Clients have committed to 6 sessions, followed by a three month hiatus and then returned for a new season of coaching. This decision is ultimately at the Client’s discretion.

+ How can I pay for the sessions?

Once a contract has been signed by both parties, (the Client & the Coach), payment will take place via electronic funds payment online and the Client will be emailed confirmation of payment.

+ What is your Rescheduling / Cancellation policy?

If the Client cancels or reschedules an appointment at least 24 hours in advance, there will be no rescheduling fee.

Any changes or cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. This fee will be deducted from the session pre-payment. (Discretion will be implemented, where deemed appropriate by the Coach).

Should the Client wish to reschedule their appointment after incurring a cancellation fee, the additional 50% of the session payment will be required, before a new date can be confirmed.

If the Client is more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the Coach will assume that the appointment is cancelled and the Client will be charged 50% of the session fee as set out above.

If the Coach is more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the Client shall not be responsible for any payment for that session and will also be offered the remaining time of that session free of charge.

+ What does your Termination Policy look like?

Either the Client or the Coach can exit the coaching relationship at any time by serving 30 days notice to the other party. If the correct termination policy requirements are followed, all outstanding monies will be returned to the Client within 5 working days.
